Elderly doctor charged with prescription distribution

A 73-year-old doctor recently was placed under arrest and jailed without bail on charges of drug possession with intent to distribute. The elderly physician was taken into custody at his Old Mount Vernon Road home by police from Prince William and Fairfax counties in Virginia for allegedly selling narcotics without a prescription.

Fairfax County police claim largest prescription drug raid ever

Fairfax County, Virginia, police descended on more than one dozen local businesses in a recent morning drug trafficking sting. Officials believe they scored the county's largest haul of illegal prescription drugs when they raided 13 stores in Alexandria, Springfield and Falls Church.
